“A remote community of talented developers has spent over five years creating London in its post-apocalyptic form, developing a new story, fully-voiced characters, new factions, Anglicised weaponry, and new gameplay elements.” – Forbes

9/10

“Fallout London is not just a miracle of the modding scene, nor is it a fleeting curiosity; it’s the real deal – a sprawling, painstakingly conceived and authored RPG that almost resembles the idealized modern Fallout game.” – PCGamersN

8/10

“It’s amazing and – to employ a cliché – really makes you feel like you’ve awakened in a retrofuturistic London that’s gone to hell and back.” – GamingBolt

4/5

“A gargantuan achievement. […] It’s ambitious and expansive in its scope, without feeling like that’s come at the sacrifice of the kind of depth that keeps playing a single-player RPG past the 50 or 60 hour mark.” – VG247

7/10

“Fallout London is a massive mod that makes good use of its untapped setting, with an impressive scope and some great stories – you’ll just have to be prepared for technical issues and occasionally obtuse design choices along the way.” – IGN

8/10

“Authentic British feel, huge amount of content, feels more balanced than the base game, consistently excellent story, F*CKING FREE.” – GameReactor

Fallout: London

Fallout: London is a landmark total conversion for Fallout 4, delivering a full DLC-scale experience that reimagines the Fallout universe beyond its American roots. Set entirely within a meticulously recreated version of London, the project introduces an original worldspace, story, factions, and characters. Drawing deeply from the city’s history and culture, it presents a distinctly British vision of nuclear survival. The release marked the culmination of years of labour-intensive development by a large, cross-disciplinary team spanning both amateur and industry backgrounds. Built with a strong emphasis on professionalism, technical craft, and narrative cohesion, the project pushed the Creation Engine far beyond its original scope. It stands as a clear demonstration of the scale, ambition, and collaborative potential achievable within the modding space, firmly positioning Fallout: London as a defining project in its field.

Stay safe. And remember: mind the gap.

Fallout London Downgrader and Addons

Shortly after the original release date, an unexpected major update to Fallout 4 was deployed just two days later, immediately creating widespread compatibility issues for players. To address this as quickly as possible, we rapidly developed a dedicated solution that allowed users to safely and easily downgrade their game to a compatible build. The result was the Fallout: London Downgrader and Add-ons, a custom application designed to minimise disruption, simplify the process, and ensure players could continue exploring Fallout: London without technical barriers.

Fallout: London – Rabbit & Pork DLC

We were excited to release Rabbit & Pork, the first official DLC update for Fallout: London. This major expansion went beyond adding new content, delivering wide ranging improvements informed directly by community feedback and addressing thousands of issues identified since launch. The result was a significantly more polished and stable experience. Rabbit & Pork introduced a substantial volume of new content, including 80 fully voiced NPCs with over 8,000 new lines of dialogue, 30 new quests and minigames, 30 new weapons and armour sets, and 70 new random encounters. The update also added a new animal companion and a player home, alongside expanded early game faction introductions, greatly enhancing both depth and replayability.

Team FOLON Launcher

In collaboration with Overwolf, we developed a custom launcher featuring built-in update handling, improved accessibility, direct support integration, and a streamlined one-click installation process. Designed to eliminate the friction of traditional mod setups, the launcher allows players to get into the game faster and more reliably than ever before. Alongside existing GOG launcher support, this addition significantly broadened access to Fallout: London for a wider audience.

Team FOLON: Collector’s Edition

One message from the community came through loud and clear: players wanted merchandise. In response, we launched the “Team FOLON: Collector’s Edition” Kickstarter, featuring five unique, limited run products created exclusively for fans of the project. Exceeding all expectations, the campaign attracted over 800 backers and raised more than £69,000, transforming what began as a small merchandise initiative into a powerful show of support for the world, characters, and atmosphere of Fallout: London. Every item was produced with the same attention to detail as the mod itself, offering fans a tangible way to support the project and take a piece of Ol’ Blighty home with them. The campaign’s success marked a major milestone for the team and underscored the passion and investment of the Fallout: London community.

Fallout: London – Last Orders DLC

We are thrilled to announce our second major expansion for Fallout: London, Last Orders, scheduled for release in 2026. This DLC significantly expands the game world, introducing a wealth of new content, including a brand-new sub-faction with its own dedicated questline, eight additional side quests, 20 new interior locations, a new feline companion, and a fully realised human companion. Designed to deliver fresh stories, memorable characters, and meaningful player choice, Last Orders represents our most ambitious expansion to date, offering new ways to explore and experience the post-apocalyptic streets of London.
