Team FOLON Ltd was established in October 2024 by a leadership team that has worked together since 2019. The studio was formed following the successful delivery of the large scale game development mod project “Fallout: London”.

The company’s directors bring extensive experience in leading remote development teams, coordinating multidisciplinary contributors, and delivering complex projects to release. Their professional backgrounds span game development, higher education, management, and software development, with significant expertise in Unreal Engine, Unity and the Creation Engine.

In addition to its development work, Team FOLON has undertaken commercial contracts, including launcher development for Overwolf, and has successfully delivered a crowdfunded merchandise campaign. The studio combines proven project leadership, technical expertise, and commercial experience as it develops its future portfolio of original titles.

History

Team FOLON is a British game development studio founded by members of the modding team behind Fallout: London. Following the completion and release of the project, the team transitioned into an independent game studio with a focus on developing original video games and interactive entertainment.

After its establishment as a studio, Team FOLON began expanding its operations and pursuing commercial game development. Drawing on the experience gained through its previous work, the company assembled a multidisciplinary team of developers, artists, writers, and designers to support future projects.

As of 2026, Team FOLON operates as an independent game development studio dedicated to the creation of original intellectual properties. The company continues to develop new titles and expand its presence within the global video games industry.
